Watch Hill Useful Information
Parking
*Some paid lots only take cash*
*Paid lots range from $30 to $50*

FREE: on-street parking along Bay Street with a strictly enforced two-hour limit during the day in the summer months ($150 fine)

FREE: Merchant Lot located in the center of the Village with a two-hour limit during the day in the summer season. No beach or boater parking is permitted in this lot, only for shopping & eating. The yellow-lined spots are reserved for Fire District sticker holders, but the majority of spots, lined in white, are open to all.

PAID: Larkin Lot located diagonally across from the Carousel with a variable rate parking from 8am to 5pm during the summer season. The Watch Hill Fire Department offers a 50% discount for military, veterans and first responders. Public Restrooms, Drop-Off and Turn-Around and bike racks are available on site during the season.

PAID: One Bay Street Lot located at the beginning of Bay Street behind Lilly Pulitzer building with a variable rate parking. Public restrooms are on site.

PAID: Watch Hill Parking Lot: In addition to the Fire District’s three lots, the Watch Hill Parking Lot (located on the east side of Bay Street, across from the Village Park) offers daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal parking. Watch Hill Parking is the only parking service in Watch Hill that has reserved parking, where guests to Watch Hill can save a spot in our parking lot. Reservations may be made at the latest, 24 hours in advance at watchhillparking.com. This will guarantee (subject to availability) that you have a parking space for the day when you visit Watch Hill. https://www.watchhillparking.com/

Bathrooms

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, restrooms open behind the carousel ticket booth and behind the Lily Pad Gallery/One Bay Street building.
Public Beaches

Napatree Point Conservation Area: There are no lifeguards on duty. The entrance can be accessed by foot at the southwest end of the harbor seawall (with the bay on your right, follow the seawall to the very end).

East Beach: No lifeguards are on duty. Entrances to East Beach can be found on Bluff Avenue, Everett Avenue and Manatuck Avenue.

Watch Hill Carousel Beach: Open to the public with paid admittance charged on a daily or seasonal basis. Amenities include: cabana, beach box, chair and umbrella rentals, public restrooms, beach showers, and lifeguards. There is handicapped access on the beach.
Watch Hill Lighthouse

The Lighthouse can be accessed on foot via a private road (follow Bay Street, take a left up the hill once you reach the carousel and take a right on Lighthouse Road). Open from 8AM to sunset throughout the year. Vehicles are permitted only for the handicapped and senior citizens.
